Sydney Hindu Wedding Photography – Gaurav and Minal Storybook (pre-wedding)

A long time in the making but well worth the wait.

What an adventure. This just covers the first 4 days of the Hindu Wedding Extravaganza that is Gaurav and Minal’s amazing adventure.

We started out heading down south of Sydney into the Royal National Park on what was a 40+ degrees day. We snuck out of the car aircon on and off to do a few little photo sessions now and then.

The next day was the Garba, the spiritual dance, also in 40 degrees, but that didn’t stop the whole party dancing on late into the night. There was so much colour and culture, great live music, and the food was spicy and delicious.

Then came the Mehndi, the henna body painting with beautiful traditional Indian food and a drinking celebration. The detail on Minal’s arms and legs was something even a great photo doesn’t do justice, “quite an amazing experience” I must say.

We then had the Vidhi’s for Minal and Gaurav, a series of intense religious ceremonies, something I will never forget, so awesome!

I have had to split up these two lovebirds’ Lovestory into 2 parts due to the sheer size of whole wedding.

Below is the first half.

The second half, the wedding day, upon the fabulous Sydney Glass Island, and reception held at the very elegant Sydney QVB Tea Room can bee seen here.

The post wedding and pre-reception photos were taken all over the city of Sydney, including Jones Bay Wharf Pyrmont, Blues Point North Sydney, The Rocks and Circular Quay. Feel free to drop me a line if you would like to know in more detail.

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of these amazing days with you.
