Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Paul and Joanna

Joanna and Paul met at the Thredbo ski school down in the beautiful snowy mountains NSW, Australia.

They started dating after they both moved to Japan for work. They lived in the same house, started hanging out outside of work, fell in love and haven’t gone a day without talking since.

Fast forward, and here we are at their wedding, where they were finally joined as one. It took place at the amazing Fig Tree Restaurant, in Ewingsdale, Byron Bay…what a spot!

Celebrant Chris Klum’s wise and heartfelt words all fit just perfectly.

Joanna’s elegant silk dress is by Grace Loves Lace and the floral genius is Haven Botanical.

Joanna and Paul and all your friends and family, thank you for having me along on such a wonderful day, for the trust and honour.

I hope these few teasers captured the essence of what your day was all about. They caught my eye!

More to come soon.

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Ollie and Holly

Byron Bay Wedding Photography

Holly & Ollie met in the office, at Foxtel advertising’s agency MCN. They kept a keen eye on each other for a few months until a work Halloween party (fancy dress of course) finally brought them together.

Memories are a little blurred from that night, however it was well reported that an “estranged Bachelorette” and a strapping young “Russell Coight” shared their first kiss on the dance-floor…with Ollie’s mates in the peanut gallery cheering!

Holly & Ollie’s relationship blossomed from there. They began spending more time together and a few months later moved in together.

As they say “the rest in history”, and after 5 years together, the two are now happily married. What a joy to be able to celebrate their day of love and commitment with their friends and family, considering Covid was lurking in the shadows.

This beautiful gathering took place at a private property in the beautiful Coopers Shoot in the Byron Bay hinterland.

Holly and Ollie, thank you for having me along on such a wonderful day, for the trust and honour.

Also a big thanks to all the amazing vendors that made it all happen. Johnny Roche – cousin, celebrant and rock-star D.J, Hummingbird & Co Catering made us some delicious food and not to forget the cocktails! Luke Yeaman played live acoustic music throughout the daylight hours, soothing all souls – what a talent!

Holly’s ceremony dress is her mum Sandra’s wedding dress, and her reception dress is her grandma Yvonne’s debutante dress!

All the Flowers are by Haven Botanical in nearby Mullumbimby.

Ok, guys n gals, everyone, I hope these few teasers captured the essence of what your day was all about. They caught my eye!

More to come VERY soon.

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Nathan and Roisin

It was a romantic rainy day in Byron Bay paradise, this day where Roisin and Nathan tied the knot.

The rain made it such an intimate gathering.

The Byron Bay hinterland gave us a spectacular backdrop with clouds rolling through the valleys off in the distance.

Roisin is wearing a stunning Wendy Makin dress and her elegant Bouquet was by the talented Lola’s Wildflowers.

The energy was high as the rain came down, everyone drank merrily and danced the night away to epic tunes by MunsterBucks.

The pool was, of course, the only way to end the night…in!

Nathan and Roisin, thank you for having me along on such a challenging but beautiful, wonderful day.

I hope these few teasers captured just a brief glimpse of what your day was all about.

More to come soon.

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Dan and Ally teasers

Ally and Dan met on the Gold Coast, Australia, after Ally’s housemate left to travel the world, and her new one had a “very handsome friend” that helped him move in. They all went out for drinks after, and these two lovers have been inseparable ever since.

Love is the answer to everything, and what better way to tell the whole world than an intimate wedding in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland.

Forget Me Not is a stunning property in the cute town of Bangalow, meticulously treated by owner Jo. It has so many little beautiful areas to use, as a photographer it’s just a dream.

But the heavens sure opened up this day, it poured with rain for the most part, so we only got to jump out now and then and get to a few close-by spots. That was enough though, it’s really all about Love!

I really love the photos below. It’s only a handful from the whole day, but they really do show the adoration these two have for each other, and that they are meant to be…well I think so.

Ally and Dan, thank you for having me along on your beautiful rainy day wedding in paradise. You were so much fun to be around, it’s beautiful people like you guys that inspire greatness in others.

I hope you like the few teasers below, many more to come in your gallery soon.

Byron Bay Wedding at The Earth House – Rhys and Eloise – a big tease

Brisbane Wedding Photographer

As a Brisbane Wedding Photographer, I cherish every chance I get to pop down to the beautiful, Byron Bay.

This week is the time to show off a little of the huge day of Eloise and Rhys’s Byron Bay wedding, and at my favourite spot of all down there, The Earth House.

The little Byron hinterland town of Clunes was a tad windy this day, but the sun shone like a gem every time we needed it. The beautiful 100 year old Fig Tree sheltered everyone for the ceremony, and caught their hats when they blew off.

Elo wore her stunning Grace Loves Lace dress perfectly. Rhys and his boys looked very smart indeed in their Blue MJ Bale suits, and not to mention the girls in their random designed, but all still matching, yellow spotted outfits, Awesome!

Elo’s proud dad walked her underneath the fig tree and down the aisle to her Husband to be. Rhys, eagerly waiting for her with a huge smile on his face.

There were kind and loving words by celebrant Roxy Hotton. Wedding rings were flying about. There was an epic KISS! It was all quite short but sweet! Thanks Roxy, quality not quantity right? 🙂

We wandered out and around the very dry, but still stunning, grounds of the Earth House for our “Expression Session”.

We also snuck up the road to the local macadamia orchard for some quiet time and a pic or two among the trees.

Then it was back to let the party begin! Eat Drink catering cooked up a huge storm. The atmosphere was fabulous, everyone was very appreciative indeed. Beautiful food guys, thank you!

The tunes were awesome too, the talented White Tree started rocking the house!

Then the sun decided to turn on a little “Golden charm” for us, so Elo and Rhys and I popped out again.

Then everyone just partied on really.  There were some sparklers, and the Magic Bus was there to take all home to bed.

Thanks so much to everyone who put this epic day on. Thanks for having me along. Love!
