Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Haydn and Laura – teasers

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer

Laura and Haydn knew each other back from school. Once they finished school, they crossed paths regularly at after work drinks and house parties.

Slowly, their friendship blossomed into Love.

The big day.

Laura and Haydn chose the stylish Fig Tree Restaurant for their location. After a roller-coaster ride of a morning, Ben Carlyle, their calm and collected celebrant, kept the spirits high as the rain sprinkled down upon everyone.

Heart felt vows were spoken. There were tears all around. It was all then sealed with one hell of a kiss!. And Laura and Haydn were married. These two were meant to be one.

We saw the sun was about to come out so we drove out to a gorgeous little spot up on a big hill in nearby Coorabell. This was one epic photo session, the mist sitting in the valleys, below an intense golden sunset.

Laura, you looked just breathtaking in your elegant Rosa Clara dress. And your gorgeous bouquet from the talented, Poppy and Fern., complimented everything.

Haydn, you were looking very stylish, in your Tom James royal blue suit, no doubt. It was noticeable that you were barely able to take your eyes off your gorgeous new wife the whole time!

Thank you to you both, for such a great day, for inviting us to come along on your adventure.

Our day then turned into night and everyone enjoyed lots of beautiful food and wine. It continued long into the night, with dancing to tunes, by musician Oscar Richardson.

I would also like to send big thanks to my partners there taking amazing pics with me on the day. To the lovely Kate Holmes, and to my awesome sister Hannah, thank you for your talent and support.

Also, hats off to the team at Byron Bay Weddings for putting on such an amazing event.

There wiil be more to come of this stunning day very soon, but for now, we hope you enjoy these.

Some of our favourite moments of the day

The Fig Tree Restaurant is one fabulous Byron Bay venue, if you have an upcoming wedding. There is also a great feature article that we recently wrote on some other top Byron Bay wedding venues HERE. It’s worth a peep, no doubt.

Tamborine Mountain Wedding Photography – O’Reillys Canungra Valley Vineyard – Ben and Chloe

Chloe and Ben connected over crappy Italian food, but yummy Churros and a walk along the promenade at Southbank in Brisbane, Queensland. They felt completely natural together.

They fell in love shortly after and planned their first overseas holiday together for a years time.

Only a few months in, they were sure they were “the one” for each other!

And skip to now, here we are after their huge wonderful day in the stunning Canungra Valley, looking at snapshots in time of Chloe and Ben being married. Out in a cute but classy Vineyard, under a delicate floral laced arbor, next to a fresh water stream, by lovely words from celebrant Jillian Nogueira and with all their families and close loved ones, they said “I do!”

Chloe, you looked just gorgeous in your pink Alla Moda gown by Paul Cowley….and Ben, what class, decked out in a custom Institchu suit, and of course arriving by Helicopter.

The stars came out later in the night and everyone danced to beautiful acoustic tunes by the talented Mollie Rose and drank merrily all the way to the end.

It was a day in paradise.

Here are a few snapshots in time you will all remember.

    Thank you!

Sydney Wedding Photography – Rebecca and Todd’s little flashback!

      Sydney Wedding Photography

These two met on a dance floor (with some stars) and were still on a dance floor (under lots of stars) when Pete and I left them last weekend.

Here’s a few moments in between all that. Below is some of the day that Rebecca and Todd joined hands together to head out onto the dance floor of The waltz of life.

These two are now one. They are so in love. They can conquer the world together.

We had such an awesome and crazy, yet exhilarating, weekend down in my old home town, the beautiful Sydney.

Thank you for allowing us to share some time with your awesome friends and families on such a hugely important day in both your lives, even with some Black Swans, smoke, the sun (we get enough of that up this way, but we love it) and the much needed rain (we don’t get so much of that). And even with quite an angry, yet I found also mildly amusing?, resident (who may be either smoke or colour intolerant, or both I think – he should get that looked at *winks*).

Life’s not so hard really, with all these first world problems we have out our front doors is it? No. 🙂

Thanks for having Pete and I along, Bec and Todd. We are proud togs, smiling. 🙂

I have just had so much fun reliving your day while surfing through all mine and Pete’s photos of the whole day, picking the keepers, crying with embarrassment at some of the rest, laughing at you guys for a lot as well (with you I meant), I felt I needed to share a few more than just a couple this time…I like to change it up now and then.

Hope you like these until the rest come your way very soon.

Amaze Cake by Sweet Layers, Arncliffe

Pete and I loved getting back to Sydney again that’s for sure, but we also don’t mind returning up here in our part of the country, it’s also quite spesh. If you’re entertaining the thought of wedding planning in the near or far future , take a peep at a few of our favourite venues in Byron Bay.

Australian Outback Wedding Photography – Dougal and India

Dougs and Indi met each other in the city but both grew up in the country.

So what better place to get married than out in the little country town of Glen Innes. The connection they have because of their country roots is something special. They both hope to move back to the country soon, and why not I say, it’s beautiful out there, calming, and where these two lovers are most at home.

India’s awesome Gold pumps are by Aquazzura and her gown is by Yulia McAuley Couture, I have never seen a dress like it, stunning!

Guys thank you for having me along, for being so hospitable and so relaxed on what was such a huge day!

I loved the experience of a wool shed wedding reception, straw and festoon lights everywhere. Also Indi, your parents’ property is amazing, congrats to your mum for all the work in the gardens to get it so perfect

Hope you like this sneak peek of what is to come keeps you happy for now.

        More to come soon.

Sydney Wedding Photography – Jordan and Kate – First look

A ‘First look’ brought Love, Energy and Anticipation to the start of Kate and Jordan’s huge day. I love that.

These two have so much love for each other, the way they connect when they even get close is just contagious.

Pete and I thought we would show off your whole first look for you, Kate and Jordan…and a few others as well. What a day!

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Mike and Joanne

As a Byron Bay Wedding Photographer it doesn’t get more amazing than the day Joanne married Mike, on Clarkes Beach in Byron Bay.

We had sun, clouds, rain, sun, sunset, waves, magic light, these two are blessed.

The always charismatic Ben Carlyle kept the spirit high as the rain came down in the ceremony. Everyone held strong though and the clouds passed.

We took a stroll down the beach for a few pics after the ceremony. We managed to find some rocks with the waves crashing in the background, it made for a stunning backdrop.

After the sunset, everyone partied the night away at Beach, Mike strutting his skills on the guitar.

It was all one epic rollercoaster ride. Jo and Mike, thanks for having Hannah and I along on your day in Byron Bay.

            More to come soon.
