Sydney Wedding Photography – Paul and Laura – a few frames

Oh, beautiful old Sydney Town!  I’m so thankful that I get to travel whilst doing what I love.

Last weekend I got back to my old stomping grounds. I remember collecting Razor Clam shells as a kid, in the stunning spit area, whilst my dad was sailing.

I love where I grew up.

Thankfully, these two lovebirds Paul and Laura decided to get hitched just there.

They started their day out on the Northern Beaches, said their vows and sealed the deal with a kiss in a cute church nearby.

After their cute prance down the aisle together, we (the 10 strong bridal party and I) headed down to the Spit for some waterside photos.

Laura you looked just stunning in your detailed Abbey Bridal dress, and Paul of course fit you as the perfect accessory. He’s not a bad bloke to marry either, well done to you both.

The reception at Zest was a lot of fun too, thanks for having me along.

Thank you for the whole day, for my adventure to Sydney, you guys were perfect.

Just a few teasers below for now, more to come very soon though.

Brisbane Wedding Photographer – Hannah and Kay teasers

It was amazing to get back to the stunning Mavis’s Kitchen for Hannah and Kay’s big day.

The sun was shining, there was so much Love in the air.

After a beautiful ceremony up on the hill, with heartfelt words by Celebrant Roxy Hotten, we then ventured out for some quiet photo time in the beautiful mount warning area surrounding Mavis’s Kitchen.

We all had such a wonderful day.

Thanks so much, Hannah and Kay, for having me along.

I hope these few teasers keep you happy for the moment.

There will be plenty more to come of the rest of the day very soon!

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – James and Niamh – Teasers

“We had known each other since we were teenagers, but James was always the cute older guy that was just that little bit too old for me at the time. He moved to Melbourne shortly after and then years later we ended up at the same house party where we just couldn’t leave each others side. I was super nervous when it came to leaving and forgot to say goodbye to him, which he says left him no choice but to facebook message me asking me on a date, so I could make it up to him for my irish goodbye.
Within two weeks we were dating, for six years we travelled around the world and visited new countries, and on our 8th Year he popped the question in London.”

What a day to get married, and at the stunning Earth House in Clunes, Byron Bay.

Byron Bay sure turned on it’s charm on this special day, the day Niamh married her sweetheart, James.

They were married to lovely words by celebrant Cara Gallagher, under the huge Fig Tree with views out to the horizon. And what a kiss!

Most of the pics are on the stunning grounds of the Earth House, the rest are up the road at a beautiful macadamia orchard.

Niamh and James, thanks for having Pete and I along on your special day.

It was one day to remember.

  • Bronagh - It wasn’t even my wedding day and I couldn’t have asked for better photographers! You were both so polite, humorous (which helped us hold back the tears) and made us all feel so comfortable on camera. As a bridesmaid to Niamh, I know she wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture her special day.

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Munro and Fiona – The Earth House – A few teasers

I’ve been a bit caught for words as what to type down for this one.

So instead of any more “umming and ahhing”, I’ll just say…

Thank you! I am quite humbled that you two lovers, cool cats, soulmates, chose me to take your pics, and at the coolest venue in Byron!

I know it was such a big day for you, so thank you for the trust.

The love was just there, and so easy to snap.

So hard to choose, but here we are.

Just a few to tease you a little!

Much Love.

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Fig Tree Restaurant – Junior and Kate

Kate and Junior met on the dance floor back in 2010. They danced until the “Ugly lights” came on. There was a spark.

3 years later they finally caught up for a coffee, and after a few years more, all their messaging back and forth rekindled the spark.

Kate went through some major surgery and Junior was always there for her, she knew he was The One!

“Deep down we just knew it would end in forever!”

A little boy later, and with another bub on the way, we skip to now.

This winter’s day, Junior and Kate were married, at the beautiful Fig Tree in Ewingsdale, Byron Bay, Australia.

It was a stunning day, a fairy-tale wedding, under a huge fig tree with a backdrop of the Byron Lighthouse and coastline off in the distance.

Thanks to Kate and Junior for having Pete and I along on your big day, for the trust you had in us to capture the love you indeed show for each other.

I have just chosen a few of my faves to show off for you as a sneak peek for now, but more will come very soon.

Love, Matt.
