Chris and Emma’s beautiful DIY wedding in Bangalow | Byron Bay Wedding Photography
Byron Bay wedding photography at the Bangalow Guest House.
Jane and I were really looking forward to photographing our first (and hopefully not our last) wedding in Byron Bay. Not only is Byron Bay a magical place (as we all know), it’s also the home to some of Matt’s family.
We met Chris and Emma at Bangalow Guest House on the night before the big day – it was late; the time where brides and grooms-to-be should be kicking back, breathing deeply, thinking about catching some beauty Zs.
Not these two.
Completing the personal touches, ensuring all the well-thought out details were in place, everything was in order, perfect.
And it was.
This is not to say Emma and Chris weren’t easy going – they were! Emma chauffeured herself to her own wedding. Kiwi Chris spent the morning with his mates, as most grooms do, drinking Coronas and shooting the breeze.
They shared their love story with their family and friends underneath a Mulberry tree, by the creek in Bangalow.
Guests shared platters of food as you would at the family dinner table. An exceptionally beautiful dinner table.
Thanks Emma and Chris for being so creative and inspirational, and for trusting our creative license and Byron Bay wedding photography 🙂
