Quite an iconic Sydney Harbour after dusk glow, I would say.
David and Vera, in love, soon to be married!
Hope you like this one, the very last shot of our afternoon together…Quite a way to finish.
More for you to come soon.

Byron Bay wedding – The Earth House – Erik and Svea – the full wedding!
The Earth House is a fairly new venue on the Byron Bay Wedding scene, having been open for just over a year now. It’s tucked away out in the little Byron Bay Hinterland town of Corndale. It’s perfectly placed up on a hill with views that go forever. I feel privileged to have been invited to photograph Erik and Svea’s Byron Bay wedding there.
The Earth House’s owner, Munro is a very lovely guy. He has an exceptional eye for detail and everything on the property is well thought out. And it is all just immaculate.
Erik and Svea are from Sydney’s northern beaches (where I grew up) but decided this stunning location would be the place for their destination Byron Bay wedding.
Their relatives and friends flew in from all around the world to share the celebrations with them.
Svea wore a custom gown by Philippa Galasso. I’ve rarely seen a dress suit a bride so perfectly. The elegant cream rose bouquet is by another Byron Bay wedding fave, Poppy and Fern.
Erik, Svea’s Swedish Viking, also very much looked the part in a custom Tux from Montagio.
These two were made for each other. I’ll openly admit that the words and emotion that came from all their loved ones on their big day had me in tears, many times.
We had a beautiful fading glow in the sky towards the end of our charming Byron Bay Autumn day, giving off some beautiful light for our expression session.
Erik and Svea, I know you two will have an amazing life together. Thank you for having us along on your amazing ride
I hope you enjoy below!
Some awesome vendors that Erik and Svea wish to thank, for making their big day possible
Justin and Bree met online, a true modern love fairy-tale.
They went to the driving range a lot, common interests help in a relationship
Many trips to the coast, going fishing together. Then Bree met Justin’s little man Logan and they have been a little family ever since.
They have many many memories of their time together before the big day.
Their little story below sure has some memories, and there will be many more to come.
I just love the attention to detail these two have, in life as well. A lot of colour (especially red) goes a long way in my book. The wedding was so much fun, and Justin and Bree are just two cool characters.
Janet Nicolson -Hi Guys
Do you think I could have these photos of my Daughter, Breanna’s wedding… Bree & Justin gave me an album, but I’m just loving the these photo’s?? Can you give me a costing please?ReplyCancel
Light Pictures-Hey Janet,
This full wedding post is still just a chosen selection from their total photo gallery, no extra editing was done or anything. Breanna has all the photos on USB, in both low res (as featured above) and High-res for printing, so I would not attempt to try and charge you to give these to you. If you would like to order professional prints from me instead of using Bree’s print files, then I can arrange that, otherwise let me know if you have issues getting the pics from Bree….or if I can help any further.
Thanks for the ongoing love.

Coffs Harbour Wedding Photography – Aanuka Beach and Villa Vivante
Tanya and James met backstage at Glastonbury 9 years ago. James immediately knew she was the one!
I love love.
Last weekend they were married in a very beautiful part of the world. A beach wedding in Coffs harbour at Aanuka Beach and then a huge party all night long up in Villa Vivante, a stunning spot up a very steep winding driveway all the way to the top of Coffs, literally, and one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen.
More of that when you see the whole wedding, and some of the best Coffs Harbour wedding photography I have seen, but for now an eagerly awaited few pics of the day.
Also a big thanks to Torsten Baumann my wing man, for driving the 6 hours from Brisbane to help out, Peta from North Coast Luxury Weddings for overseeing and organising a lot of the day and Fiasco Catering for the delicious food.

Sydney engagement photography – Zara and Stan – Sydney Harbour in a Day
Stan and Zara flew in from the Philippines to take in the Sydney sights and celebrate their engagement with an afternoon photography session. We literally took a round trip starting in the Domain and ending at the iconic Sydney Opera House under a spectacular sunset. These two did an amazing job blending into the stunning scenery! Some of these Sydney sights are the most photographed in the world, but I never tire of them. Love Sydney!
Eddie had been carrying a ring around for 3 months, and last week, just a day before this session, he proposed and slid that awesome sparkler onto Joanna’s finger you can see below.
It’s official, they will be married.
They wanted a couple of memories of their vacation to hang on a wall back home, so such a great idea to grab someone who’s a bit of a pro with a camera to also show you around some of the nicer parts of Sydney City.
Well I promised these two a couple of teasers of our afternoon we spent together so here are a few of my faves. It was hard to choose.
Some of the places we visited during our Sydney engagement photography session were Kirribilli, North Sydney, Centennial Parklands, and we finished off under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Sydney showed us a charming Autumn day that’s for sure – we’ll forgive it for the sideways wind just this time.
More to come soon guys…stay tuned.
